Firefighter Physical Performance Assessment ("PPA") Testing

This registration package contains the following information:

Registration

Registration will be conducted, online only at www.rifirechiefs.com, between January 30 and February 11, 2012.

Once you have submitted your application and fee ($100 for test only, $120 for test and practice, plus Paypal fees), you will be assigned a PPA test date and time and a practice session date and time, if chosen. A practice session will be offered on March 3 and 4, 2012. In order to participate in the practice session you must choose that option during your registration.

Dates and times are issued in order, on a first registered, first scheduled basis. Earlier dates are filled first, in order, and later dates are filled as needed.

Practice

If you have chosen to participate in the practice session, you will need to show a photo ID and submit your signed medical and PPA waiver and release forms. If you do not submit the required paperwork, you will be allowed to OBSERVE ONLY. You will not be able to attempt any of the evolutions.

Test

If you participated in the practice session and submitted all of the required paperwork, all you will need to bring is a photo ID. If you did not attend the practice session, you will need to bring a photo ID and submit your signed medical and PPA waiver and release forms. If you do NOT submit all of the required waiver and release forms, you will NOT be able to participate in the PPA testing nor will another test date be scheduled.
