The RI Southern Firefighters League presented their Chief Frederick A. Stanley Dedicated Service Award to Chief Scott Kettelle at their annual Presidents Steak Fry. The Steak Fry, held on June 23rd, was well attended by league members as well as leaders of the RIAFC in support of Chief Kettelle. Assistant Chief and league secretary Chris Koretski presented the award with league president and vice president, Chief Tom Reed and Chief Andrew Kettle looking on.

"Chief Kettelle couldn't be more deserving, as he is known around Rhode Island as a truly dedicated fire chief who gets things done, and who works collaboratively with all parties to see that things are done right." said Chief Rick Susi, RIAFC executive director. "That could stand as the definition of dedicated service. Chief Stanley would have been so proud to see his good friend receive this award."
